16 NEW PARTNERS THIS MONTH!
LESS THAN 3 WEEKS TIL CREW ROLL-OUT.
SUSTAINABILITY IN A CHANGING INDUSTRY
At HAVN, our role is not to claim we are solving sustainability alone.
Our role is to work alongside the right partners - shipyards, captains, suppliers, and service providers who are actively improving standards.
Everyday onboard habits create consistent, cumulative environmental impact:
Single-use plastic water bottles
Plastic-wrapped provisioning and excess packaging
Plastic paint pots, trays, and disposable brushes
Harsh chemical deck detergents
High-turnover uniform replacements
Our goal is reduce this as much as possible.
REST, REGULATION AND REALITY AT SEA

Sleep is one of the most overlooked performance factors in the superyacht industry; yet it underpins everything: safety, decision-making, physical health, and crew morale.
Under the STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) regulations, crew are required to have a minimum of 10 hours of rest in any 24-hour period, and 77 hours over seven days.
So the question becomes: how do you manage sleep in an environment where perfect conditions don’t exist?
Creating a repeatable wind-down routine, even in short windows, can significantly improve sleep quality. This might include limiting screen exposure before rest, using guided audio, or building consistent cues that signal to the body it’s time to switch off. Small habits, done consistently, compound over time.
At HAVN, we’ve partnered with specialist providers to support crew with practical, personalised tools to improve sleep and recovery. These include techniques such as guided hypnosis, audio-led decompression, and routines designed to fit around the realities of life on board. The focus is not on ideal conditions, but on what is realistic and effective within the constraints crew actually face.
FOUNDER NOTE

Last month I was in Saint Barths, one of the true capitals of global yachting.
Many of you will have been there during New Year’s Eve, with hundreds of yachts anchored just south of the island in an extraordinary display of scale and spectacle.
As I invest in the platform development, it means balancing contract work, racing and deliveries, alongside product strategy and partner conversations. It requires patience and long-term conviction.
However, it has also created opportunity.
In previous years, regattas like the Bucket were commitments I could not accept. This year, I am here racing, reconnecting and building relationships directly with captains and crew.
